Ha I ku flow like clouds rise
Barometrically high and blossom white
In strict syllables, not.

Clouds rise until
They cannot force thin cold air any farther
White with steam.

Air pressures hold clouds on high
But the clouds
Press back.

Clouds spill up
Rivers flow downhill
Rain falls downhill.

Clouds spill up until
The air cannot
Bear their weight:
Snow falls.

Clouds spill up
Rivers in the wind
Painting the air
I can see air!

Clouds: water steaming
In thin cold air
Paint the sky white
so we can see the blue.

Clouds spill up
into thin cold air
Icy rivers in the wind.
Cirrus.

And still you
Count strict syllables?
