A Rivers Region Story A two hundred year old Australian building is destroyed by fire when a jet taking off from the local airport is shot down. This is how the owner turns a fire gutted building of five sandstone walls back into the elegant building it once was, despite not having much cash to do it with and having to fight the state bureaucrats. It also talks about his important personal and family events during the reconstruction. The fire is very much a life changing event for the owner and his family.

If I titled one as Book 1, there had to be a Book 2! More suprises are here. This one picks up at the end of Book2A of Destruction Aftermath and Book 1 of P&P. It's somewhat short but is, I hope, a good read.

The world of Darvin Carpenter, a PI in Albuquerque, NM
This is actually the second Carpenter novel, but it's the first which is available for me to post. This is the first visit of the Carpenters to Red Hawk since Darvin left Red Hawk back in the 80s. It ties in with a short story called "Ghost," which I'm also posting so you can get the background of this novel. Also, because of the overwhelmingly positive feedback from The Chief, I'll be posting more chapters at a time. :)
Tom is down on women after his wife dumps him for a handsome guacho from Argentina. Can he be tempted by the girl sitting at Willy's Tavern looking so sad and lonely. She was just... a girl in the night.
When Jerry's wife, Cindy, told him to "give it away," he couldn't. Would she ever come to him and ask him to "give it back?" This is a sequel to "Give It Away" please read that story first.
