Santa Claus is forced to carry out market research on how families enjoyed Christmas. (Note: this is set in a Southern Hemisphere country, where Christmas is celebrated in summer.)
He was a nice guy with a nice Mormon girlfriend, right up until he came out of his outhouse and found he could heal plants and people with a touch. Nothing went right after that. Some Baptists wanted to kill him, the police wanted to arrest him, the mormons wanted to make him an icon of their faith. All he wanted to do was get married. Some gifts came with a price tag that was too high to pay.
A simple peasant, whose family has been destroyed because of a marauding army and who no longer cares about living, finds himself still possessed of a desire to aid those in desperate straits, and is rewarded beyond what he knew possible.
A Story in the Spider and Fly Universe
Another little wander into the realms of the improbable. This one might be a little difficult to understand, but as the characters have little idea what the devil is going on anyway; the reader should not feel alone.
A little tongue in cheek composition, that is not intended to be taken seriously.
A romantic dinner, a charming entomologist, and one very enthusiastic off-menu dish. Technically Edible is a comedy of manners about the distance between good intentions and good judgment. Measured, in this case, in legs.
