A Jade Force of Misera Story
Misera from its founding has not been stable.There a suppressed indigenous population and a repressed population controlled by a few selfish political types. A civil war erupts. The government hires Jade Force to put down the rebellion so that Jade Force can kill off the protesters. Blame is easy to deflect - it wasn't us, it was Jade Force who massacred the crowd in the square.

Damsels In Distress
On Earth, Sid is a college student who has a very odd uncle. When his uncle dies and leaves him his house, Sid learns that he has inherited more than a home. In the closet of the study is a portal to the planet Crossroads and his caretaker, Sally. From Crossroads is a portal to Chaos, a planet with Damsels in Distress. A Jade Force of Misera Story
The world has lots of water with ships transporting goods from one place to another. With so much shipping piracy can easily become a major international problem. Cartoom has become home to a major nest of pirates. Jade Force is called upon to end the problem.

This tale begins in southwest Virginia in "the colonies" a few years before the American Revolution. For my readers in Britain, sorry 'bout that. It follows James through being a long hunter, starting a new estate in North Carolina, and his involvement fighting against the British.

Al is asked to take on another special mission, but this time it's well into the enemy held lands where he can't get any of the Chaos helpers to go with him. Damsels In Distress
Al Adams makes his first visit to Chaos as a Hero. However, he must first prepare for the trip. A rescue is chosen, and plans made. But the plans must change to suit the developing situation he meets on the ground. He does push ahead in establishing himself on Chaos.

An Australian soldier is killed in Afghanistan. Years later a young girl is abducted near her school in a rural Australian town. A strange man in worn Army camos discovers her. She has a rare blood group and is bleeding to death. It's a race against time. The local community helps by donating blood; neighbours and strangers are determined to help her. A nearby Army base also helps the daughter of a respected officer who died in Afghanistan. While she's in hospital there are strange incidents.

'Once a Marine, always a Marine.' was the code he lived by. His dictionary had no definition for 'impossible:' an exceptional man who wouldn't let his superiors stop him from doing what he saw as his duty, even if it's by himself after being retired. The story is told by his niece who's concerned about how the authorities are trying to rewrite his life for their own purposes.

People with a warrior tradition face many military challenges, and how they rise to the occasion. Events demonstrate both the sheer horror of war, and the great heights people can reach when striving to protect their own. A boy caught in the rebellion leaves the country then returns to join the Royal Guards. As a colonel he must stop an invading army while outnumbered 40 to 1. A young girl who joins the Royal Guards.
